Cinematographer

Cinematographer

Arina Bleiman is a New York based Director of Photography.

Bleiman draws her cinematography from a diverse background, growing up in the northern metropolitan of St. Petersburg, Russia and the sizzling streets of Miami, Florida.

Bleiman's work shows bold compositions and a love for color, she values the complimenting collaborations between the cinematographer, director, and production designers.

Dedication to the story and the value of concept is the backbone of her work; vibrant visuals and meticulous movements serve as strings to the weaving of the final piece, each special and odd, often a hidden beauty found in the norm and the unlikely.

Growing up in early post-soviet Russia, Bleiman took up oil painting and with it rooted a passion for the filling the frame and the respect for negative space.

Most recently, Bleiman has been exploring genre blending in new media with a heavy emphasis on music. She hopes to join upcoming artists in creating pieces with fresh perspectives in our ever changing visual field.
